Thai Massage is an ancient form of energetic massage developed in Thailand. It is practiced fully clothed and usually takes place on a padded massage mat on the floor. Thai massage typically works with compression. Rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed, pulled, stretched, and rocked using hands, fingers, legs, and feet moving you in yoga-like stretches and gentle pressure along the body's energy lines. It is also called "lazy person's yoga."
Benefits of Thai massage is increased flexibility, relief of muscle and joint tension, and balances the body's energy systems. It can be both relaxing and energizing.
